2012, 2013 Recap

​

  • 4 teams qualified for USAV Junior Beach Nationals

  • AP hosted its first sand tournament in support of growth in sand volleyball.

  • AP had more than 40 girls participate in sand in 2012.

  • AP Alumni, Grace Weaver competed in the NCAA Sand Volleyball Program at Tulane University.

  • AP hosted it's 2nd annual tournament in every age group

2014 Expectations

  • 2014 season will consist of one pre-season tournament at Milburn in every age group to prepare players' for qualifying tournaments.  

  • North Practice Location: Milburn Park, Cedar Park - see calendar.  

  • North practice: Last year practice will most likely be the same for 2014, but details to be finalized by March.  Most Thursday's 6:30-8:30pm and Friday's 9:00-11:00am. 

  • Walk-in's will be welcome for a fee of $40.  You must fill out a waiver prior to playing and can be filled out at the courts

2013 Season FAQ


Cost for the season $850 (price reduced)

-includes 1 local tournament, uniform, and all practices.  

All players are required to register their own team which is new to the club sand scene this year.  In years past the club would register your team, however now teams will register on their own to any tournament of their choice.

 

If you plan to have a busy summer the best option for you is to commit to 1x per week plus the included tournament cost: $450.

Payments can be broken up into two payments. Payment plans are available through the director.  Accepting Credit Cards with a 3% fee.



AP does not have tryouts.  We welcome all participants ages 10-18 (girls and boys).  You do not have to have a partner to participate.  We will help you find a partner.



What to wear to practices: spandex and a practice tank top (tank tops are provided by AP).  You may not wear a bathing suit to practice for AP Sand.  We encourage hats and sunglasses as well as multiple sunscreen applications.  Sands socks are available to be purchased online at: www.sandsocks.net
